Delete your data
You control your data. Here is how to delete your EventOut account and personal information.
Updated: 21 October 2026
You can delete your EventOut account and personal data in two ways: through the app or website yourself, or by contacting us. This page explains both.
1. Delete your account yourself (recommended)
If you can still sign in, the fastest way to delete your account is from your profile:
1
Sign in to your EventOut account on the app or website.
2
Go to your profile. On the app, tap your profile icon. On the website, open your account or profile section.
3
Look for the account deletion option. Choose "Delete account", "Close account", or "Delete your data" the exact wording depends on where you are.
4
Confirm. Follow the prompts to confirm. You may be asked to re-enter your password or confirm your email.
Once you confirm, your account will be scheduled for deletion. You will usually receive a confirmation message at your email address on file.
Before you delete your account: deleting your account is usually permanent. You may lose your tickets, booking history, saved favourites, profile details, and any other personal data we hold for you. If you have upcoming events or active tickets, consider whether you want to keep your account until those events are over.
2. What happens when you delete your account
When your account is deleted:
- We remove or anonymise your personal data including your name, email, phone number, profile details, and account history as far as our legal and operational obligations allow.
- Your tickets may be cancelled or made unavailable, including any you have not yet used. If you have upcoming events, check with us before deleting so you do not lose access to your tickets.
- You will no longer be able to sign in to the Service with that account.
- We may keep some data for as long as the law requires for example, for tax, financial record-keeping, fraud prevention, or to comply with a legal obligation.
- Where we have already shared your data with an event organiser (for example, to run your booking), we are not able to recall it from them. The organiser's own policies will apply to any data they hold.
3. Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in for example, you no longer have access to your email or phone you can ask us to delete your account and data by email:
Write to attoneex@gmail.com with:
- The email address or phone number connected to your account.
- Your full name, if you remember it.
- A brief request to delete your account and personal data.
We will use this information only to identify your account and process your deletion request. We will confirm when your request has been completed, or ask for more information if we need it.
4. Your rights
Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to ask us to delete your personal data where one of the legal grounds for deletion applies for example, where the data is no longer needed, you withdraw consent, or the processing is unlawful.
You can also:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to restrict or stop certain processing where an applicable right exists.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these rights, email attoneex@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and within the period required by law where applicable.
You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority in your country. We will not retaliate against you for exercising your rights.
5. Questions?
If you are unsure whether to delete your account, or you want to delete only some of your data rather than everything, contact us at attoneex@gmail.com and we will do our best to help.
